The Islamic Civic Society of America – Dar Al-Hijrah Mosque is pleased to announce that the first day of this year Ramadan 2024 (1445 A. H.) will begin on Monday, March 11th, 2024. Ramadan is the month of fasting, blessings, mercy, forgiveness, charity, Qur’an, caring and sharing.

Welcome to Islamic Civic Society of America (ICSA)
The Cedar Riverside neighborhood, where the Center is located is also known nationally as little Mogadishu, because it is the first home for many of the Somali immigrants in the U.S. This neighborhood also serves the University of Minnesota, Augsburg College (home to the Gathering of Nobel Peace Prize Laureates every year
Women in Leadership
ICSA has always been blessed with strong leadership (men and women) and have had impact due to their efforts. To ensure that ICSA continues to benefit from our female leaders
Youth Development & Leadership
We believe that any youth development model must prove that it can work with and build the capacity of the family to be in the primary role of youth development
Interfaith Action
ICSA exchanges visits or participates in service programs with non-Muslim organizations to build bridges of understanding. ICSA also regularly conducts presentations on Islam and Somali Culture.
